Olay Touch of Sun Gradual Tanner: Review, Photos
Since summer is slowwwlyy approaching in Toronto, we girls must get our fake tans on! I've tried a number of 'gradual sunless tanners' in the past and Olay Touch of Sun ranks as a reliable go-to, though not so much for getting the job done quickly.
The lotion is lightly tinted yellow and squeezes out fairly runny. It feels quite wet upon application and takes about a few seconds of rubbing to set in. Once it does, my skin actually feels quite "quenched" and dewy, not satiny or powdery, nor is it greasy. It has a light slightly sweet scent and has none of that obvious self-tanner scent like other products do, and disappears within 10 minutes.
As for the tanning effect, this is NOT turn your skin orange/brown! I would say this gives more of a yellow-toned tan to my legs than Jergens, which gives more of a noticeable result. There would be no point in buying this if you're looking for something obvious and golden or very tan. It only warms up my skin slightly and takes away the pale pastiness of it.
This lotion remains one of my favourites for the fact that I love the smell, it works great as an everyday body moisturizer, and it does work, though if you're using it for an event in mind give the product as LEAST a week of 2x daily use!!!
